It's almost here.

Aubree's first birthday that is! My baby girl is 11 months old today! Everyone has always told me "you better cherish every moment because it goes by so fast". I knew it would, but I never thought it would go by THIS fast!! I am loving this age right now, but I do get a little sad when I think about how fast she's growing up and how she is only little for a short while. *sigh*

These past few weeks I have been planning her 1st birthday party and let me just tell ya.... I can't wait to PARRRR-TAYYY!! We are going to be knee deep in owl decor and I cant wait to celebrate Aubree's first year with friends and family.

Now at 11 months she is turning into such a little ham. Here are our 11 month milestones and favorites. Aubree new favorite foods are: strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, bananas, veggie sticks, Cheerios, lunch meat, anything pasta, cheese enchiladas, rice and broccoli cheese.
She enjoys drinking from her sippy cup, getting into everything, eating, taking baths in the big tub, playing on the iPad, and looking out of windows.

Easter is this weekend and that means time with family and the annual HUGE Easter egg hunt! I cult wait for Aubree's first Easter! One because of her precious Easter dress but also because of her 12 qt. Easter bucket!!

I am going to enjoy every second of the next month because her monthly birthdays will soon be over and my 5 lb. 11oz. baby girl will be ONE!!! oh man!

Luck of the Irish

I have always loved holidays, but now that Aubree is part of our family holidays are SO much more fun! Today was Aubree's 1st St. Patricks's Day and boy did we have fun!!

We started off the day with yummy pancakes for breakfast. My intentions were to have green pancakes, but for life of me I couldn't find the green food coloring! BOO! But we still had a great breakfast.

After lunch, playing outside for a bit and nap time we made some delicious lucky cupcakes! They were so yummy! I think Aubree thought so too! :)

So I have to say... This age is definitely my favorite thus far! Love it! She is so much fun and we always just have the best time together, whether we are just playing around the house or out shopping {which the loves}.

This past month Aubree celebrated her first Valentine's Day. We celebrated with flowers from daddy and a fun stuffed Valentine Basket. Since she loves giraffes we got her a Valentine one, with a few bath toys and a couple of good books.

Ten month favorites:

Crawling.

Pulling up to standing position.

Clapping.

Playing pat-a-cake.

Digging everything out of her bag.

Eating spaghetti.

Playing outside.

Of course, bath time.

Getting into everything.

Aubree is such a little firecracker, yet the calmest, sweetest thing at the same time. She has truly been a blessing to our little family.

Of course in TX you never know what the weather is going to do. It's February and it was 70 degrees outside so we decided to spend the afternoon at the park. Aubree was in love...with the swings that is. She had the best time!

Since Easter is in March this year I knew I had to get on the ball with finding an Easter dress for Aubs. Since chevron is so popular right now I knew this was the perfect dress for my little doll.

I can't wait to see her in it, running around hunting Easter eggs with her cousins! 

This past month has been so much fun. I can't believe we are already at the 10 month mark! Crazy how time flies when you're having fun! 2 more months till the big O-N-E!!!! Oh.mi.word!

Just a quick little milestone post. Aubree and I were playing this afternoon and of course she was crawling from toy to toy. I heard her giggling and turned around to see her cute little self standing up next to her activity table! Yes, I teared up. She is just growing up so fast, but man is she adorable!! Here are a few pics from her pulling up/ standing up during playtime today!

Oh, and one morning Aubree was caught brushing her hair one morning before school. Love.

Crawling on cloud 9...

Here we are! Sweet Aubree is 9 months old! She weighs 15.10 lbs and is 25 1/2 inches long.

This has been one of the funnest months yet. She has such a playful personality and is such a joy.

9 month favorites:

Crawling, crawling, and more crawling.

Puff cereal.

Daddy.

My ride-a-long puppy, bingo.

Bath time.

People watching at restaurants.

Banging toys together to make noise.

Getting tickled.

Pulling up on things.

People clapping.

Reading.

Crawling into mommy's lap.

Finger foods.

She now has 2 bottom teeth and working on her top ones.

Love watching her learn and grow! Can't believe she will be one in 3 months!!!

Another milestone...

My itty bitty is now off to the races. As of January the 12, 2012 my once still and giggly baby is now crawling everywhere!!! She started off just kind of wobbling around all morning and rolling a lot more, the she woke up from her nap and decided it was time to start going places...and boy did she! She is still so tiny for her age, so its so cute to see this little bitty baby on the move. She is so stinkin cute and she LOVES it! We are so proud of her and love watching her grow.


She has also started to pull up on and climb on her toys and everything else over the weekend. Let the fun begin! Even if it gets tiring I love chasing her around the house because one day I know that I will wish she was this little. Trying to cherish every moment.

Turning 8 is great!! {months that is}

So the countdown is on!! My baby will be one in just 4 short months! I. CAN. NOT. BELIEVE. IT!!! I'm am so happy and love how she is growing and developing such a sweet {yet sassy} personality, but it also makes me a little sad that it's going by so fast.

My little bitty is such a little fire cracker, but yet the sweetest baby ever.
